As expected, my new attempt to build failed in the same manner.

The line above the error message I sent earlier is:

cc1: warnings being treated as errors

Guess this means I just need to wait until someone else sorts
this out.  (Should have stuck with the code I built successfully
for i386 3 days ago...)
