I am planning to set up a machine to host 2 web sites thru dynamic DNS via my cable access. I know I can host the sites, and I know I can do the dynamic DNS workarounds. I am planning on running apache, cucipop, and a firewall on freebsd. I have read up and find this not to be so uncommon. Here is where my problem lies....I am planning on running this all off of a 486 66MHz workstation I have with 40MB ram and a 512 SCSI drive. I anticipate having to upgrade the drive soon, but will it do for now? Am I going to have enough space to run this or do I need more? Any suggestions? Any comments? anybody doing this on a machine this slow?
