One page that helped me setup my epson was: http://eunuchs.org/epson/index.html Take Cory's advice, as well. I personally use the stc.upp unified driver, as in: gs @stc.upp -sOutputFile="|lpr" yourfile.ps -c quit There are some specific ones for the 800, stc800ih.upp 1440x720 DPI Inkjet paper stc800p.upp 720x720 DPI Plain Paper stc800pl.upp 360x360 DPI Plain Paper Try these with a postscript file and see how it works. There are example postscript files in /usr/local/share/ghostscript/5.10/examples Patrick Gardella On 02-Sep-98 Christopher Raven wrote: > HI, > > thanks for the info. , I received the Epson Stylus Colour 800 and installed > Ghostscript and all its associated fonts etc. from the packages collection. > However, when I try to print from Star Office 3.x I get the print commands > coming out on the printed page, instead of the intended test pages.
