I haven't spent much time to investigate the issues but - in 505 series, modem and sound devices appear in the bios setup, and you can enable/disable or assign address/irq. - in Z505 series, neither modem nor sound device entry appears in the bios setup. freebsd sio doesn't recognize the modem (irq 3 not in bitmap of probed irqs 0) and the pcm driver doesn't recognize the sound device at all.
