Hello all, was doing a bit of work trying to figure out a problem I'm having but cannot get it yet. I have an external USB 2.0 3.5 inch drive case and a Western Digital Drive inside of it. The box does not boot when the USB drive is in, but when I plug it in once started, here's what /var/log/messages shows: Nov 8 20:50:37 pluto kernel: umass0: Cypress Semiconductor USB2.0 Storage Device, rev 2.00/0.01, addr 2 Nov 8 20:50:37 pluto kernel: umass0: Get Max Lun not supported (STALLED) Nov 8 20:50:37 pluto kernel: GEOM: create disk da0 dp=0xc478f450 Nov 8 20:50:37 pluto kernel: da0 at umass-sim0 bus 0 target 0 lun 0 Nov 8 20:50:37 pluto kernel: da0: <WDC WD16 00JB-00GVA0 \0000\0000> Fixed Direct Access SCSI-0 de vice Nov 8 20:50:37 pluto kernel: da0: 1.000MB/s transfers Nov 8 20:50:37 pluto kernel: da0: 152627MB (312581808 512 byte sectors: 255H 63S/T 19457C) Obviously there is somethign wrong here. Here's the output of my camcontrol : pluto# camcontrol devlist -v scbus0 on umass-sim0 bus 0: <WDC WD16 00JB-00GVA0 \0000\0000> at scbus0 target 0 lun 0 (da0,pass0) scbus-1 on xpt0 bus 0: < > at scbus-1 target -1 lun -1 (xpt0) I'm not sure what else I can do. Anyone have any tips? Thanks, Scott __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Check out the new Yahoo! Front Page. www.yahoo.com
