I feel like you're doing these imports 'backwards'.  How are you
accomplishing this with svn without doing the below, or is this a
freebsd convention I just don't know about ?

svn import vendor/x/tag1
svn import vendor/x/tag2
cd vendor/x/dist
svn merge .../vendor/x/tag1 .../vendor/x/tag2 .
svn resolved
svn ci
