I always thought 6x86 was equivalent to a = pentium (aka I586_CPU), but when the kernel loads, it hangs.... = (unidentified cpu or something)... I have a Cyrix 6x86 and was wondering = if i could=20 compile a kernel that identifies the cpu correctly.  I always = thought 6x86=20 was equivalent to a pentium (aka I586_CPU), but when the kernel loads, = it=20 hangs.... (unidentified cpu or something)...
