disclaimer: i tried to search the mailing list archives for the
answer to this question but typing "libXmU" brings up a bunch of stuff from
1995. i know this question was answered just this week, but there is no way to
restrict dates in the archive search as far as i can tell. i'm really sorry to
have to waste the list's time like this, but the searching function just isn't
up to snuff.
anyway, enough prelude.
i just upgraded to 2.2.1 and i am seeing the dreaded:
ld.so failed: Can't find shared library "libXmu.so.6.0"
the file exists, is world readable, and is in my LD_LIBRARY_PATH. what am i
doing wrong?
hudsucker 20 > xmcd
