yes I removed and reinstalled the ram modules.
But I do not know where the cache chips are really localted.
Actually the AS compiled the XFree source during all the day and nothing
happened (no that much big disk spinning).
I came back home and start using tar and pkg_add and it crashed...
The compilation test is more meaningfull for eventually ram problems.
I Am concerned it must be something wrong with the Disk, or the disk
having some strange influence on the power supply as you suggested me.
I will look better at the power supply when I go home.
