I have a 32M system, with ~71M of swap allocated. When a MFS /tmp was mounted, my swap usage instantly went to about 66M, and then incrementally grew until everything crashed due to lack of memory. (Actually, it panic'd in update, in lockstatus). Unmounting /tmp immediatly sent my swap usage crashing down to 0. I can file a PR or provide more details if needed. -- Jonathan
