Date: Sat, 03 Feb 2001 18:25:51 -0600 From: Patrick Hartling Message-Id: <20010204002552.12C3F5E32@tomservo.vrac.iastate.edu> Sender: owner-freebsd-ports@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I have been using XFree86 4.0.1 built from the XFree86-4-* ports for some time now, and I was wondering if that collection of ports is going to be updated to 4.0.2? I see that the XFree86-4 port has been at 4.0.2 for several weeks, but no similar upgrade has been made for the modularized port. A while back, I seem to remember some traffic on cvs-all regarding this issue, but I don't remember seeing a resolution. My attmepts to find information in the list archives have come up empty, unfortunately. So my question is really this: should I build 4.0.2 from XFree86-4 or just continue to be patient waiting for the modularized version to be upgraded? It doesn't matter either way to me, but I want to be sure to use the one that will get along with all the other X11 ports. Thanks. -Patrick Patrick L.
