11.4 and stable/11 branch reaches EOL on 2021-09-30 [1]. After that ports/ compatibility to be removed [2] and existing packages may disappear[3]. If you can't upgrade consider backing up e.g., # pkg fetch -r FreeBSD -a # mkdir -p /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos # printf 'cache: {\n url: "file:///var/cache/pkg",\n enabled: yes\n}\n' >/usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/cache.conf # pkg repo /var/cache/pkg Some stats: - /latest amd64: 87 GiB (29571 packages, 2021-Sep-20) - /latest i386: 79 GiB (29240 packages, 2021-Sep-20) - /quarterly aarch64: 60 GiB (29731 packages, 2020-Aug-22) - /quarterly amd64: 85 GiB (29301 packages, 2021-Sep-19) - /quarterly armv6: 52 GiB (27333 packages, 2020-Oct-02) - /quarterly i386: 77 GiB (28953 packages, 2021-Sep-19) - /quarterly mips64: 14 GiB (16728 packages, 2020-Oct-01) - /release_4 aarch64: 60 GiB (29494 packages, 2020-May-20) - /release_4 amd64: 83 GiB (31585 packages, 2020-May-27) - /release_4 armv6: 50 GiB (27367 packages, 2020-May-26) - /release_4 i386: 77 GiB (31308 packages, 2020-May-26) - /release_4 mips64: 14 GiB (16736 packages, 2020-May-26) Note: /release_4 is from 11.4R freeze, so still has Qt (5.13.2) and Plasma (5.18.4.1). Disclaimer: Based on observation. I'm not responsible for any of this. -- [1] https://www.freebsd.org/security/ [2] https://reviews.freebsd.org/D32008 [3] /latest and /quarterly tend to disappear almost immediately after EOL while /release_<n> stick for a few months/years. This is likely because ports/ break *before* the poudriere jails are disabled and removed.
