PCMCIA support doesn't exist in 2.1. There are support for some PCMCIA cards (notably the 3C589), but generic support isn't there yet. In -current there is better support, and I'm working on integrating some stuff from the BSD Nomad group in Japan into both -current and -stable. However, the APM code is a bit of a hairy situation right now. I'm not expert in it and I have no documentation, although I'm trying to work with the a couple folks to sort the APM situation out, as well as the PC-CARD support. > I'd rather not have to do any programming, but if that's the shortest > path to completion, I want to hear that too. We could use some more 'programmers' right now to help figure out what's needed with both PC-CARD and APM support. Nate
