I am trying to install 3.3 on a relatively new box that I have made myself. I boot from the cdrom, remove the conflicts from the kernel, and then begin the install config process. All goes well untill it is time to begin the actual install process, I am told that there is no cdrom found! After some digging, the only answer I have found is the one in Complete FreeBSD by Greg Lehey that says because I have an ATAPI cdrom that I need to get outside help. So here I am asking...Please help. The cdrom is a Hi-Val. I have never had a proble with it otherwise, and it does boot from the FreeBSD cdrom. Thanks for any and all help, Brian To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
