While I was at Red Hat last year, I noticed that the TP 600 (which they had a bunch of) wouldn't boot a FreeBSD CD-ROM (3.4, IIRC), although they /would/ boot the RH 6.[12] CDs. Wouldn't swear to it, but I think the IBM IntelliStations they had also displayed similar symptoms. Didn't bother me too much at the time, because my laptop of the time wouldn't boot from /any/ CD, regardless.. :) Cheers, AS > ok good luck > > ps does someone know how to use the tpctl utility (linux util to set up > tp's bios ) under freebsd, anyone tryed? > pps ist there a possibility to set up a tp's bios without using win or > the ps2 tooll?? > > tnx > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message > --==_Exmh_2132331003P Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (FreeBSD) Comment: Exmh version 2.5 07/13/2001 iD4DBQE70KbXPHh895bDXeQRAvrHAJ0amYEdJ7HcZ+VW9idnr9B2IsAXmQCY0o88 ugRigo7dDr+Z094RaHp5Rg== =naZ7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --==_Exmh_2132331003P-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
