warner, i just tested out my orinoco pci adapter and card on a new dell dimension 4300 and it works like a piece of cake.no freezing,no watchdog timeouts.its just that it gives problems on my gateway2000 machine(4-5 yrs old).note that my 3com pci card works without any problems on the gateway.guess the better bios in the new dell helped the orinoco card.
