I upgraded the ports collection and sources after the install with no problems whatsoever. Just today I attempted to upgrade my ports_collection and sources, and while executing "portsdb -Uu" I got this weird error.... webmail# portsdb -Uu [Failed `Inappropriate file type or format'] [Updating the portsdb in /usr/ports ... - 11736 port entries found .........1000.........2000.........3000.........4000.........5000....... ..6000.........7000.........8000..../usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/portsdb. rb:587: [BUG] Bus Error ruby 1.8.2 (2004-07-29) [i386-freebsd4] Abort (core dumped) webmail# The error generated a 10MB Coredump file which I tried sending to you, but couldn't compress it. Should I try to "Make Deinstall" RUBY18, and then "Make Reinstall" it again?? ============================================ Michael A.
