On my FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE (01 Aug) system, the 'w' command seems to have a broken '-n' functionality. It displays hostnames rather than IP numbers. Another system built the same day does not have any problems problems with 'w -n', displaying the IP numbers like it should. Both systems have the same source in /usr/src/usr.bin/w. What could be causing 'w -n' on one system to return hostnames instead of IP numbers? - Mike ____________________________________________________________________________ mike j. brown, fourthought.com | xml/xslt: http://skew.org/xml/ denver/boulder, colorado, usa | personal: http://hyperreal.org/~mike/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
