I tried this morning, but I was stopped when I tried to recompile the new
linux_lkm. I am running 3.0-current as of earlier this week. After
untarring the linux_ioctl.tar.gz file, and then doing a make in
/usr/src/lkm/linux, I get this:

hope.winternet.com$ sudo make
cc -O -DLKM -I. -DCOMPAT_43 -DCOMPAT_LINUX -DKERNEL
-DACTUALLY_LKM_NOT_KERNEL -I/usr/src/lkm/linux/../../sys -Wreturn-type
-Wcomment -Wredundant-decls -Wimplicit -Wnested-externs
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wpointer-arith -c
/usr/src/lkm/linux/../../sys/i386/linux/linux_ioctl.c
/usr/src/lkm/linux/../../sys/i386/linux/linux_ioctl.c: In function
`linux_ioctl':
/usr/src/lkm/linux/../../sys/i386/linux/linux_ioctl.c:665:

/usr/src/lkm/linux/../../sys/i386/linux/linux_ioctl.c:665: (Each
undeclared identifier is reported only once
/usr/src/lkm/linux/../../sys/i386/linux/linux_ioctl.c:665: for each
function it appears in.)

/usr/src/lkm/linux/../../sys/i386/linux/linux_ioctl.c:673:
`SNDCTL_DSP_SETTRIGGER' undeclared (first use this function)
/usr/src/lkm/linux/../../sys/i386/linux/linux_ioctl.c:677:
`SNDCTL_DSP_GETCAPS' undeclared (first use this function)
*** Error code 1

Stop.

Any clue? I havent had a chance to look at it yet because I am at work
right now. =) Thanks!
