Well, it may not help you any now, but for anyone else out there who is
interested, the HARDWARE.TXT and RELNOTES.TXT documents with the releases
generally have better lists of supported hardware.

Yes, this is an area that needs work.  We just need the people to do it.
If anyone is interested in helping with documentation, you should get
involved in the FreeBSD documentation project.  See:
