Some features of the application do not work with wxPython 2.6. I installed py-wxPython28-common and py-wxPython28-unicode from the instructions in PR 11349, PR 11350, and PR 11351. Now all of the features of my application work as they should. I am not a Python developer nor am I qualified to critique a port, but I do find value in the work that was submitted in those PRs and would like to see it committed to the ports tree. Thank you all for your time and effort.
