Or the system library should be named more appropriately. The libusb that is part of the BSD USB stack is soley a Human Interface Device library, not a generalized USB device library. It was given a more global name than was appropriate (all HIDs are USB devices, but not all USB devices are HIDs). Hence, it should be named libhid (or something similar).
