Well, I'm using a HP DeskJet 930C here (with ghostscript's "djc970" driver). It works fine and the print quality looks good, although I tend to print more text-only documents than real photos. Generally, *all* HP printers that suport the PCL 3 (or PCL 3 Extended) language should work fine. Other manufacturers make good FreeBSD compatible printers too, but I don't have too much experience with these.
