Sorry, the work sort of froze-up midway as Garrett and I got into an exchange about the wisdom of bringing this back, and I was giving him a chance to contact Netcon himself if he so decided. After spending another chunk of $$$ on the phone to Netcon in Florida, it's pretty clear to me that we need to bring it back and unless Garrett suddenly comes forward with an effective compromise that doesn't have Netcon re-writing lots of code (and pushing their 2.2 product release into late next year sometime), I'll be bringing it all back today.
