https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D283180 Bug ID: 283180 Summary: science/hdf5: Disable FORTRAN option by default Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: sunpoet@FreeBSD.org Reporter: ivan@drm.su Assignee: sunpoet@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(sunpoet@FreeBSD.org) Hi, The FORTRAN option brings gcc dependency. Can we turn it off by default to achieve the pkg without gcc deps? Example: I run pkg install blender and it requires gcc13. After a long digging into the issue I found out that science/hdf5 brings the dependency. Building it from ports without FORTRAN fixes the issue. Or may be add a separane package with fortran flavor? Like we have with git= and git-lite or git-tiny. The goal is to run pkg install blender without gcc13. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
