           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any

Hi,

The FORTRAN option brings gcc dependency.

Can we turn it off by default to achieve the pkg without gcc deps?

Example:
I run pkg install blender and it requires gcc13.

After a long digging into the issue I found out that science/hdf5 brings the
dependency. Building it from ports without FORTRAN fixes the issue.

Or may be add a separane package with fortran flavor? Like we have with git=
 and
git-lite or git-tiny.

The goal is to run pkg install blender without gcc13.
