Would it be at all reasonable to create a seperate tree just to store stuff that's been cleaned out of the attic? This way, we could clean it out on a regular basis, and if someone wanted to restore the contents of the attic, they could easily check out, say, "deleted", and copy the contents of deleted/ports into their local ports tree. Or copy deleted/doc into their doc tree. Actually, I don't know enough about cvs to say whether this is easily possible or not, but it's a thought.
