Sometimes the "noapic" option will work.  Sometimes the "apic"
option does.  On some systems it just doesn't work.  Sorry...
not my area of expertise.

I've never tried 2.4.19 on your motherboard. 8-)

In otherwords, you're really asking the wrong guy.  I don't
mess with interrupt routing in Linux.
