Who do I have to maim, mutilate or know to get this STUPID LOUSY program to
install!!!!!!! I've been trying to install from floppy to a small system,
386 SX 20, 245 meg drive, 8 meg memory and I get as far as past setup and
drive setup and to media installation and inserting the first install disk
and after a few seconds I get a "WRITE FAILURE ON TRANSFER (WROTE -1 BYTES
OF 1024 BYTES)". The debug screen says- DEBUG: REQUEST FOR /DIST/BIN/BIN.AA
FROM FLOPPY ON /DIST, PROBE 0. PID 53 (GUNZIP), UID 0: EXITED ON SIGNAL 11
(CORE DUMPED) /STAND/CPIO: PREMATURE END OF ARCHIVE
What am I doing wrong!!!!! Wonderful free program!! I'm glad its free I'm
not sure I'd pay for it!! If its this hard just to install the bin and man
then maybe I'll just buy a commercial program, at least I can call and get
help!!!!!!! I've tried different floppies, different drives and install
bins from different ftp sites, nothing works and it looks like all every
'faq' out there deals with is with CD installs or "It wont recognize my
cheapie net card,vga card,etc". Please can someone shed some light??????
