Yes, tcl has a very strange way of doing shared libraries, it considers the
entire extension to be ".so.1.x".  I debated long and hard about bumping the
shared library version to 1.1 and then 1.2 for the patches and decided it was
the "right" thing to do despite the carry-over into other ports.

This was why I was so paranoid about the port upgrade and asked for lots of
testing.  I wanted to see if this would bite anyone.

I still think the right thing to do is to just change the port PLIST on the 
new ports for tcl/tk 8.0.  If we decide that I made the wrong call on this, we 
should stick it out for 8.0 and then when tcl8.1 comes out, we can go the 
other way.
