IIRC, HSP stands for Host Signal Processing, aka WinModem. FreeBSD
doesn't support these, only Winblows does (the OS(?) provides (a
lot of) the functionality that is in the chipset of *real* modems)
and uses a fair bit of CPU horsepower in the process.
