   Okay, fifo files are working BUT there is a problem.

   Opening a fifo file with read/write attributes works greatl.  Opening 
a fifo file write only fails.  I fetched Hylafax source and changed all 
write only to read/write access on all fifo related open function.  I 
have not tested Hylafax yet but I should be able to do it fairly soon (I 
have to get the result...)
