It has been operating without a problem for > 12 months but suddenly last week the following error started to appear (see below). Is it a media error? Or do I suspect hardware failure? I have tried two new media cartridges and various reboots. Perhaps the machine needs to be physically powered off to reset the bus? The various commands (i.e. mt status) hang for a few minutes and then return "device not configured" errors. I would be grateful for any assistance that could be provided.
