In looking through sys/vm/vm_pageout.c to find out whether a problem on Illumos relating to process swapping (bug here: https://www.illumos.org/issues/6583) also has any relevance to FreeBSD (because CarlosN26157061 on Twitter mentioned it), I noticed that the code has been relatively untouched since its import from 4.xBSD sources, and got to thinking of this thread and was wondering if it's somehow related, and whether FreeBSD should also get rid of process swapping. If not, please excuse my interruption in this thread. >Hi hackers, >I've been playing around on a box that Netflix loaned me, I'm thinking >about novel ways to deal with NUMA issues. >[snip] >Thanks, >--lm Daniel Ebdrup aka.
