This problem started lastnight and there were no such problems before. Here is the info. on my FreeBSD environment: ================================= - uname -a: FreeBSD nrl.stanford.edu 4.9-RELEASE-p7 FreeBSD 4.9-RELEASE-p7 #1: Tue May 11 18:43:53 PDT 2004 root@nrl.stanford.edu:/usr/src/sys/compile/my_kernel i386 - No "/etc/make.conf" file. ================================= Here are the said error messages: ===================================================================================== % sudo portsdb -Uu Updating the ports index ...
