(Sorry for the crosspost, I'm not sure where this is the most appropriate)

I finally quit using FreeBSD version of Netscape Communicator 4 because it
crashed way too much. I decided to give the Linux version a try. Believe
it or not, it seems to crash significantly less than the FreeBSD one.

The only thing I miss is the ability to run Plug-ins, specifically the UMP
MIDI Plug-in. I know there are Linux plug-ins available, but can they be
used on my FreeBSD system? If so, how?

(I think I tried this once and got some sort of error from Netscape
"unknown binary format" or something like that? Is there a work-around?)

Please cc me by email if possible. Thanks!
