I recently changed from the built-in Cirrus Logic GD5430 SVGA controller on my box, which could handle 132x43 as text mode. My (partially) new ATI Mach64-GU graphics accelerator however, only handles 80x60 text mode (according to vidcontrol -i mode | grep T). The ATI card is newer, and has more memory. Yet it will not function as one would expect. Is anyone familiar with this? Thanks. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
