I install FreeBSD 4.2 on my COMPAQ Armada M300 PIII procesor 600 MHZ, 64M RAM, 6 GB, 4M ATI LT PRO. I haven't try it with the docking stations but I don't think that would make a big diference. I have it for about 3-4 weeks and I dont have problems at all, I got all the devices running. My sound card is running pretty well, the only problem that I got so far is some problems with some sound docks in windowmaker. Graphics it is all fine. I have my Xconfiguration at 1024x768 32-bit depth with no problem. Of course the only problem , that I'm not sure, is the modem, and you also know why. I have a little trouble with my apm, I can get the estimated battery life time. I also try hibernation and the computer crashes, and with suspend I'm not so sure. Besides that all works fine. I think it's a nice trade off for portability. This computer is ok with me.
