[These instructions are for Win9x; I believe Win ME is basically the same.] It should have all device names in text. Start Menu -> Settings -> Printers -> Add Printer Add the Generic/Generic Text Only printer. Start Menu -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System Select the Device Manager tab. Computer should be highlighted. Press Print. Press Setup. Select the Generic Text Only printer. Press OK. Select print to file. Press OK. Enter file name, e.g. devmgr.txt. Select a good path where you can find the file later, e.g. c:\windows\desktop. Press OK.
