It gets the link up and running ok, but it doesn't seem to forward incoming packets at all. As an example ping sits there and doesn't get a single echo back. The route table looks the same regardless if the current pppd (as of July 1) or the old one (as of Feb 1998) is used. Netstat -s shows the icmp "host unreachable" count to be increasing.
