Hmmm, I have tried this with 2 cards and I am very sure it was terminated,
properly, I've even tried an over terminated bus and an unterminated bus,
each gave the same result, I am still able to access ID 0 (My boot disk)
but all the other devices get confused when they are queried by the
kernel.... the host adapter BIOS identifies them correctly though!

Sorry for the confusion about xvscan, It is a really good product and it
did refuse to write to the tape, I got a dialogue box identifying the SCSI
generic device it is linked to as a 'WangDAT 3100' and saying that xvscan
would not write to it....

This is of course impossible as the kernel didn't manage to identify the
device as a WangDAT and it's not covered by SCSI generic anyway!!!!
