If you have this file in /usr/local, it's probably old, and Mesa is find that file first. Thus the failure.=20 You shouldn't have a /usr/local/include/X11 directory at all. Try removing it, and see if that fixes things. The search path for headers is specified by the various -I compiler arguments.
