There is the standard one which contains the "old" ports, and the extra repo for new_corg users specificly only containing the afected ports which need to be compiled with "NEW_XORG" set. That why you need to configure a second repo if you are using new_xorg. The repo for "new" xorg does copntain the new packages for all of the other bits of X11, but this one was apparently missed.
