Hi there,

I have a Toshiba Portege 7220cte with Pentium III 650 and 196M ram running
FreeBSD 4.3RC and XFree86 4.0.3 without problems. It seems that the newer
Xfree86 works better and has some apm support for the Savage driver.=20
I use my laptop almost 24 hours a day only suspended while driving home or
to work. I never seens any lockups yet. I think is smart to switch over to
the XFree86-4 version. Switching to the consoles and back also works and
usb mouse and the internal mouse work together on the console and X.=20
The pccards work also, but i made a linux like network.opts for the network
stuff i have multiple network adaptors and several network enviroment
so i made a new config with all de info in it. That works great.
I only have to eject or insert the cards for enable them in the current mod=
e.

Robert
