Bump upstream version

Single-line, but oh so impactful, upstream bug-fix release. With 0.50 the
header arguments to put() actually get used as described in the API
documentation, rather than getting silently lost.

Upstream maintainer stepped out of hiatus, a decade into no longer using the
software, for this release. That should be an indication that this is worth
bumping, right?
