Also related to my previous question on lookups, I believe some
ISPs may have a huge number of very small subnets (say /28 or
even smaller) attached to some kind of virtual interfaces
(vlans, gif, tun,...).

Can anyone comment on what the numbers are (i.e. 100-1k-10k subnets ?)
and whether the subnets are taken from a single larger pool which
only includes such subnets, or they are randomly scattered across
a large number of /24 subnets ?
