I recently installed a SB PCI128 sound card which works fine with Windows. I inserted the device 'pcm0' in my kernel and made the device 'snd1'. When I enter the command 'cdcontrol play' I get sound from the headphone jack but not the speakers. When I boot the card is found OK. Is there something else I need to do?
