Date: Thu, 24 Jun 1999 01:22:27 -0700 From: "Mike O'Brien" Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I have installed 3.1-RELEASE including the ports stuff under /usr/ports. The tree there has pointers like: 00_TRANS.TBL@ -> /cdrom/ports/emulators/linux_lib/pkg/00_TRANS.TBL However, CDs 3 and 4 just have paths like /cdrom/distfiles. "pkg_add" doesn't work. What am I missing? Should I have deleted all of /usr/ports before installing 3.1-RELEASE?
