Scot I installed port apach13-fp downloading fp50.freebsd.tar.Z last night 8pm and when I started apache I got a error in the httpd-error.log about a security patch being broken. I wrote a pr last night about this. See http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=34863 So I do not think you installed the current apache13-fp port to test the Site Administration Pages. It sure is good to have the ear of the apache13-fp port maintainer. In my opinion this port is incomplete. From a users point of view one expects that after the port install is completed it is ready to use, and it is not. The Site Administration Pages should be activated right in the port without any extra manual configuration. Read my pr for description of the other problems that need to be fixed. Also some verbiage in the pkg-comments about what is included in the port and how to access it sure would help people to get started using it. I am job hunting right now so I have a lot of time to test, so if you want I can be your tester and we can work out the problems. -----Original Message----- From: Scot W. Today I setup the Server Administration Pages on port 1080 with: /usr/local/frontpage/version5.0/bin/owsadm.exe -o setadminport \ -s /usr/local/etc/apache/httpd.conf -p 1080 -u fpadmin owsadm.exe will add an entry for this port into the httpd.conf file. This sets up a virtual host on the specified port, but when you try to access it with http://<servername>:<port>, the password will not be accepted. You will need to add: AllowOverride AuthConfig Limit Indexes Options To the Directory entry for /usr/local/frontpage/version5.0/admin-exes.
