I haven't had enough time to work out all the quirks. Whats the IP address of the DSL modem? Mine uses a config IP address of 192.168.254.254, the times I've actually got PPPoe to work, I made sure that I could ping the DSL modem(added an alias of 192.168.254.1), then executed ppp -ddial -nat default.
