I came to try a SuSE 9.2 LiveCD lately (yeah yeah, i know: shame on me....) and i was quiet astonished to see it working from scratch in 1400x1050 on my Acer TM661 using an i855 chipset. I didn't see any patch like the 855resolution tool applied when booting...so does anyone know if they applied something to the driver they use ? How far is the dri support for the i810 driver on bsd ? Or has Eric stopped working on it completly ? so long....
